The work hereinbefore referred to is desoribed as follows:

cription of assessment district re-
ference is hereby made to a Map
thereof designated as Plan No. 273.
of assessment District for the Im-
provement of Certain Portions of the
Promenade. in the City of Newport
Beach. California. approved by the
_ Board of Trustees of said City on
the 5th day of March. 1923. and now
on file in the office of the City Clerk
of said City on which the exterior
boundaries of said district are in-
dfcated by a red border line.

mines that serial bonds shall be
Issued to represent each assessment
of $25.00 or over for the costs of
said work or improvement: said
serial bonds shall extend over a
period of nine years from the 2nd.
day of January next succeeding the
date of said bonds and shall bear
interest at- the rate of seven per
centum Per annum. and an even
annual proportion of the principal
sum thereof shall be payable by
coupon on the 2nd day of January
of each year after their date until
the whole is paid. and the interest
shall be Payable semi- annually by
coupon on the second days of Jan-
uary and July respectively of ecah
year at the rate of seven per centum
per annum on all sums unpaid until
the whole of said Principal and in-
terest have been paid.
All of the proceedings for the
aforesaid improvement and for the
issuance of said bonds shall be taken
under and in accordance with the
provisions of an Act of the Legis-
lature of the State of California.

1. That a Schlueter Interlocking
reinforced concrete sheet piling bulk-

along the westerly and southwesterly i

southwesterly prolongation of the
southeasterly line of Emerald Ave-
nue to the northwesterly prolonga-
tion of the southwesterly line of
Park Avenue.
2. That a concrete sidewalk 3%

3. That all those Portions of the
Promenade upon which Schlueter
Interlocking Reinforced concrete
sheet piling bulkhead or concrete
sidewalk is to be constructed as
hereiubetore described be gra:led to
the official grade.
4. All of said work shall be done
in accordance with the Plan desig-
nated as "Plan No. 272. City of New-
port Beach. Pian and Profile of
Promenade:' adopted by the Board
of Trustees of the City of Newport
Beach. on the 5th day of March.
1923. and on file in the office of the
City Engineer of said City. and in
further accordance with Specfica-
tions No. 33. for the construction of
Concrete Sidewalks. in the City of
Newport Beach. adopted by Resolu-
tion No. 165 of the Board of Trus-
tees of said City, and on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the said
City. and in further accordance with
Specifications Ne: 34. for the con-
struction of Schlueter Interlocking
Reinforced concrete - sheet piling
bulkheads. in the City of Newport
Beach adopted by Resolution No.
221 of the Board of Trustees of said
City. and on file in the office of the
City Clerk of said City.

said Board of Trustees Is of more
than local or ordinary public bene-
fit. and said Board of Trustees
makes the expense of said work and
improvement chargeable upon the .
