A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Newport Beach declaring their intention to vacua,
close -up and abandon for public street purposes 0
certain portion5(of Coast Boulevard within the said
City.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach do
resolve as follows:
Section One.

It is the intention of the Board of Trustees to order that
portio4f Coast Boulevard hereinafter described, within the said
City to be closed up,vacated and abandoned for public street purposes;
the said portions of said Coast Boulevard to be closed up, vacated and
abandoned for public street purposes is described as follows, to wit:
All I ;�W portionsbf Coast Boulevard within the said City from the
northeasterly prolongation of.the southeasterly line of 6lat. Street
to the westerly boundary 3.1#e of the City of Newport Beach,excepting

therefrom any portions of any public atreebg,avenues or alleys inter-
secting with or terminating in aaid Coast Boulevard.
Section Two.
That the public work herein described is the closing up of the
portions of Coast Boulevard described in Section One hereof and it
appearing to the Board of Tp steea that there are no coats, damages or
expenses occasioned by or arising out of said work and that no assessment
Is necessary to pay the coats, damages or expenses of said work and that,
therefore, no assessment district of lands to be effected or benefited
by said work or improvement is necessary.
Section Three.
The Street Superintendent of the City of Newport Beach is hereby
directed to cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of said con -
templated improvement, at not more than three hundred feet in distance
apart upon said street, and not less than three in all upon said street,
notices of the passage of this resolution, said notice to be headed,
"NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK ", in letters not less than one inch in length and
stating the fact of the passage of this resolution, its date, and brie*

of Coast Boulevard herein described, and the said notice shall refer

to this resolution for further particulars;. the said. Street Superin-
tendent shall also cause a aimilar'notice to that herein described, to be
Published by four successive insertions in the Newport News, a weekly
newspaper, printed, published and circulated in said City of Newport
Beach(there being no daily newspaper so printed, published and circu-
lated in said City).
Section Four.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution
and cause a minute thereof to be recorded in the records of the meet-
Ing of the Board of.Truateea at which this resolution was passed.
