RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH CONFIRMING THE ASSESS-
MENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN PORTIONS
OF 14th STREET, BROAD STREET, SAN BERNARDINO
AVENUE AND OCEAN DRIVE IN SAID CITY.

WHEREAS, .pursuant to statute, the Superintendent of
Streets of the City of Newport Beach made and filed with the City
Clerk of said City, on the 15th day of September, 1924, his
assessment and diagram for the improvement of certain portions of
14th Street, Broad Street, San Bernardino Avenue and Ocean Drive
in said City, as described in Resolution of Intention No. 279,
passed by the Board of Trustees of said City on the 24th day of
December, 1923, and
WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form
required by law for all interested persons to appear before the
Board of Trustees in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, at
the hour of 7:30 o'clock, P.M. of Monday, the 6th day of October,
1924, and show cause why the said Board of Trustees should not
confirm said assessment, and
WHEREAS, all interested persons hatdng appeared before
the Board of Trustees and having been given full opportunity to
show cause why said assessment should not be confirmed, and all
objections presented having been heard and fully considered, now
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the City of
Newport Beach as follows:
That no cause has been shown why the said assessment
should not be confirmed;
THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport
Beach-does hereby approve and confirm the said assessment, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Streets
of the City of Newport Beach be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to attach a warrant to said assessment'and record the same
in the manner and form required by law, and thereafter to deliver
the same to the contractor or its assignees.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution being

by the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach on the
