A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACR,'ACCEPTING DEED DATED JANUARY

21St', 1929, BETWEEN J. M. BACKS; COUNTY CLERKS
GRANTOR, TO CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, GRANTEE:

WHEREAS, pursuant to Decree of Court appointing
8
J. M. Backs, County Clerk and Clerk of the Superior.Court in and
9
for the County of Orange, State of California, as commissioner
10
for the purpose of conveying to the City of Newport Beach,
11
certain real property in the City of Newport Beach, County of
12
Orange, State of California, the said J. M. Backs made and
13
executed a certain indenture of deed, dated the 21st day of
14
January, 1929, as County Clerk and Clerk of-the Superior Court
15
in'andfor the County of Orange, State of California, to Newport
16
Beach, a Municipal Corporation of,the Sixth Class,
17
NOW, THEREFORE, BE'IT-RESOLVED: That said deed

I be accepted and that the City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach

be, and he is hereby. instructed to place said deed of record in
20
Orange County, California.
