RESOLUTION N0. 6-97
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A TIMBER PIER AT
TWENTY —SIXTH STREET.
It appearing to the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach that the construction of a timber pier located at Twenty—
sixth Street and the Bay Front in the City of Newport Beach, is
now necessary for the purpose of commerce and navigation.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That the special specifications
No. 10 for the construction of timber piers and Plan No. 375 for
the construction of a timber pier at Twenty —sixth Street, as
prepared by R. L. Patterson, City Engineer and submitted this
24th day of March, 1930, be, and the same are hereby adopted as
and for the specifications for doing the said work in making
said improvement.
Be it further resolved that the City Clerk give a Notice to
Contractors inviting bids for the construction of said pier in
accordance with the specifications and plans herein on file and
as provided by law, and that said Notice be published three (3)
times in the Newport News, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Newport Beach.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, at a regular adjourned meeting thereof held this
