RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the propsotion of ma$ing the grant of the here-
inafter described property was duly and regularly submitted to
duly qualified electors of the city of Newport Beach, at a epee
election held on the lo%, day of 1934; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the gran of the hereinafter
described property to the United States of America, was duly
authorized and approved by a vote of a majority of the electors
of the said city of Newport Beach, voting upon the proposition of
making such grant; and
WHEREAS, the said electors of said city of Newport Beach
at said special election aforesaid, directed and authorized the
said city of Newport Beach, by and through its City Council, to
grant to the United States of America, for public and government
(including military and naval) purposes of the United States of
America, those.certain lands situated in the city of Newport Bea
County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly
described as follows;
Commencing at a point in the easterly line of Channel
Road as said Channel Road is laid out, and shown upon a Map
of Tract 518, recorded in Book 17, pages 33 to 36 inclusive,
of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California,
which point is south 150 001 East 60 feet from the south-
westerly corner of Lot 1, Block P of said Tract 518; running
thence North 750 001 East 70 feet to a point in the United
States Bulkhead line between U. S. Station 107 and U. S.
Station 108, as saidjrbulkhead line is laid out and shown
upon a map of Newport Bay showing harbor lines, and approved
by the U.S.War Department, January 18th, 1917, and on file
in the office of the U. S. District Engineer in Los Angeles,
California; running thence south 150 009 East along the
said bulkhead line 155.99 feet to said Station 107 in said
bulkhead line; running thence south 150 001 East 115.73
feet; thence north 750 221 West 58.37 feet; thence north
750 521 West 22.05 feet to a point in the easterly line of
Lot J of said Tract 518, which point is south 150 001 East
10.42 feet from the northeasterly corner of said Lot J of
Tract 518; thence north 150 001 West along the easterly line
of said Lot J and the easterly line of said Channel Road
232.13 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 17,629. ..%
square feet, more or less, of land.
Together with the improvements thereon.
Together with all tenements, hereditaments and appur-
tenances thereunto belonging -,.or in any wise appertaining.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the city of Newport
Beach, grant to the United States of America, for public and
governmental (including military and naval) purposes of the United
States of America, the real property in this resolution heretofore
described; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk
of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby authorized,
directed and instructed to execute, on behalf of the city of
Newport Beach, a Warranty Deed conveying to the said United
States of America, the real property heretofore in this Resolution
described; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the said warranty deed
be delivered to the United States of America, and to its proper
authorities, by the city Clerk of the city of Newport Beach,
together with a certified copy of this Resolution.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a meeting thereof held on the
