RESOLUTION N0, of
WIEREAS, the proposition of making the grant of the
hereinafter described property was duly and regularly submitted
to the duly qualified electors of the city of Newport Beach,
at a special election held on the day of
1934; and 1
WHEREAS, it appears that the grant of the hereinafter
described property to the United States of America, was duly
authorized and approved by a vote of a majority of the electors
of said city of Newport Beach, voting upon the proposition of
making such grant; and
WHEREAS, the said electors of said city of Newport
Beach at said special election aforesaid, directed and authorized
the said city of Newport Beach, by and through its City Council,
to grant to the United States of America, for public and govern-
mental (including military and naval) purposes of the United
States of America, those certain tide lands situated in the city
of Newport Beach, Oounty of Orange,State of California, and
more particularly described as follows, to -wit;
Beginning at a point in the southwesterly line of
Ocean Avenue, as said Ocean Avenue is laid out and shown
upon a map of Corona Del Mar, recorded in Book 3, pages
41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California, which point is 14.27 feet South 680 441 East
from the point of intersection of the seaward prolongation
of the southeasterly line of Heliotrope Avenue, formerly
known as 34th Avenue, as laid out and shown upon the said
map of Corona Del Mar, with the said southwesterly line of
Ocean Avenue; running thence south 680 441 East along the
said southwesterly line of Ocean Avenue 249.15 feet to an
intersection with the seaward prolongation of the northwest-
erly line of Iris Avenue, formerly known as 35th Avenue, &G.
laid. out and shown on said map of Corona Del Mar; thence
south 390 381 West along the said seaward prolongation of the
northwesterly line of Iris Avenue 170.00 feet; thence south
150 001 East to an intersection with the ordinary high tide
line of the Pacific Ocean; thence Westerly along the ordinar;
high tide line of the Pacific Ocean to an intersection with a
line which bears south 170 031 230 East from the point of
beginning; thence north 170 03V 230 West to the point of
beginning: Containing 29,500 square feet, more or less, of
land.

Together with the improvements thereon.
Together with all tenements, hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging, or'in any wise appertain
NOW, THEREFORE, -BE IT RESOLVED: That the city of Newpor
Beach grant to the United States of America, for public and
governmental (including military and naval) purposes of the Unite
States of America, the real property in this resolution heretofor
described; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and Oity Olerk
of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby authorized,
directed and instructed to execute, on behalf of the city of
Newport Beach, a warranty deed conveying to the said United
States of America, the real property heretofore in this resolutio
described; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said warranty deed be
delivered to the United States of America, and to its proper
authorities, by the city Clerk of the city of Newport Beach,
together with a certified copy of this resolution.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the city of Newport Beach, at a meeting thereof held on the
