RESOLUTION NO. 6 1 _
WHEREAS, the proposition of making the grant of the
hereinafter described property was duly and regularly submitted
to the duly qualified electors of the city of Newport Beach, at o�
a special election held on the to i+1 day of �e{e 1934,
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the grant of the hereinafter
described property to the United States of America was duly
authorized and approved by a vote of a majority of the electors
of said city of Newport Beach, voting upon the proposition of
such grant; and
WHEREAS, the said electors of said city of Newport Beach
at said special election aforesaid, directed and authorized the
said city of Newport Beach, by and through its City Council, to
grant to the United States of America, for public and governmenta
(including military and naval) purposes of the United States of
America, those oertain tide lands and /or submerged lands situated
in the city of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the easterly line of Lot J of
Tract No. 518, as shown on a map recorded in Book 17, pages
33 to 36 inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps,. Records of Orange
County, California, which point is south 150 East 10.42
feet from the northeasterly corner of said Lot J; running
thence South 750 521 East 22.05 feet; thence South 750 22t
East 58.37 feet; thence south 150 551 East 2047.54 feet;
thence south 750 001 West 190.00 feet; thence north 150 001
West 1470.00 feet; thence south 750 001 West 140.00 feet;
thence north 150 001 West 180.00 feet; thence north 750 001
East 140.00 feet • thence north 150 001 West 204.34 feet;
thence East 90.31 feet; thence North 150 001 West 255.91
feet to the point of beginning. Containing 364,199 square
feet, more or less, of land.
Together with the improvements thereon.
Together with all tenements, hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise
appertaining.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the city of Newport
Beach, grant to the United States of America, for public and
governmental (including military and naval) purposes of the
United States of America, the real property in this resolution
heretofore described; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk
of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby authorized,
directed and instructed to execute, on behalf of the city of
Newport Beach, a Warranty Deed conveying to the said United
States of America, the real property heretofore in this Resoluti
described; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the said Warranty Deed be,
delivered to the United States of America, and to its proper
authorities by the city Clerk of the city of Newport Beach,
together with a certified copy of this Resolution.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the city of Newpor Beach at a meeting thereof held on the
