RESOLUTION NO. '�
WHEREAS, the proposition of making the grant of the
hereinafter described property was duly and regularly submitted
to the duly qualified electors of the city of Newport Beach, at
a special election held on the '! day of 4 e , 1934;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the grant of the hereinafter
described property to the United States of America, was duly
authorized and approved by a vote of a majority of the electors
of said city. of Newport Beach, voting upon the proposition of
making such grant; and
AREAS, the said electors of said city of Newport B
at said special election aforesaid, directed and authorized the
said city of Newport Beach, by and through its City Council, to
grant to the United States of America, for public and governmen
(including military and naval) purposes of the United States of
America, those certain tide lands situated in the city of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more
particularly described as follows, to-wit-
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Lot 14, Block
"E", Tract 518, as shown on a map recorded in Book 17, pages
33 to 36 inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California; running thence easterly along the north-
erly line of Lot J of said Tract 518,.381.32 feet to the
northeasterly corner of said Lot J; thence south 150 001
East along the easterly line of said Lot J and the southerly
prolongation of said easterly line, a distance of 266.33 feet;
thence due west to an intersection with the ordinary high tide
line of the Pacific Ocean; thence northwesterly along said
ordinary high tide line of the Pacific Ocean to an inter -
section with a line which bears south 270 00+ West from the
point of intersection of the southerly prolongation of the
Westerly line of Lot 14, Block "E", of said Tract 518 with
the southerly line of said Lot J; thence north 270 001 East
to the point of intersection of the southerly prolongation of
the westerly line of said Lot 14; Block "E" with the south-
erly line of said ,Lot J; thence north 100 531 38" East along
the southerly prolongation of the westerly line of Lot 14 of
said Block "E ", 15 feet to the point of beginning. Containing
65,773 square feet, more or less, of land.

Together with the improvements thereon.
Together with all tenements, hereditaments and appur-
tenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining.
NOSY, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Newport
Beach, grant to the United States of America, for public and
governmental (including military and naval purposes of the United
States of America, the real property in this resolution hereto-
fore described; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That the Mayor and City Clerk
of the city of kewport Beach be, and they are hereby authorized,
directed and instructed to execute, on behalf of the city of
Newport Beach, a warranty deed conveying to the said United States
of America, the real property heretofore in this resolution
described; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That said warranty deed iae
delivered to the United States of America, and to its proper
authorities, by the city Clerk of the city of Newport Beach,
together with a certified copy of this resolution.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularlyFaesed and adopted by the City Council of
the city of Newport Beach at a meeting thereof held on the
