RESOLUTION NO.
1
2 WHEREAS, pursuant to instructionss. the City Attorney
3 of the City of Newport Beach has prepared a contract in which
4 the City of Newport Beach agrees to sell certain excess water
5 of said city to the VIKING YACHT CLUB, upon the conditions,
6 covenants and restrictions in said contract set forth; and
7 WHEREAS, said contract has been duly presented by the
8 City Attorney to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
9 for its acceptance and approval.
10 NOW, THEREFOHH, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain
11 contract made and entered into the 1st day of April, 1935s by
12 and between the City of Newport Beach, as the party of the first
13 part, and the VIKING YACHT CLUB, as the party of the second part,
14 wherein and whereby the City of Newport Beach agrees to sell
15 certain of its excess water upon certain conditions, restric-
16 tions and limitations to said party of the second part, be
17 and the same is hereby approved as written.
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk
19 of the City of Newport Beach be authorized and directed to sign
20 said contract on behalf of sd d City of Newport Beach.

22 I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
23 and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
24 Beach at a regular adjourned meeting thereof held on the 15th
25 day of April, 1935, by the vollowing vote, to -wit:
