A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW (R T
BEACH DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE CLOSING UP
AND ABANDONNEIT OF A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET KNOWN
AS "CEOM PLACE" IN THE CITY OF NEWPCRT BEACH, DE1•,
CLARM. IT TO BE FOR TIM PUBLIC INTEREST AND CON9A0.
INNCR, AND FIXING THE TINE AND PLACE FOR BEARING OB-
JECTIONS TO SAID PROPOSED IMPROPB11310.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach pursuant
to.t-be provisions of an not of the Legislature of the State of
California, known as "Street Opening Act. of 1889" approved

quires thw closing up,and abandonment of a portion of that oer-
Lain street, known as "Channel Place" in the City of Newport
Beach and it is the intention of the City Council of. the City or
Newport. Beach to order the folloai ng described street in said
City to be closed•up and abandoned, to -mitt
All that `portion of the northeasterly one-half of Channel
Place, as said Channel Place is laid out and shown upon a map of
Canal Section, recorded in Book 48.page 980 Miscellaneous Daps,
Records of Orange County,. California, lying southwesterly of and
adjacent to Let. lb# B1ook 441 of said Canal. Section and extending
between a line perpendicular to the southwesterly line of said
Lot 18, wbloh:lins is 17 feet northwesterly, measured along the
southwesterly line of said Lot 16 from the most southerly corner
of said Lot 18, and a line perpendicular to said southwesterly
line of said Lot lb, which line is 90.53 feet northeasterly,
measured along the southwesterly line of said Lot 15 from the
most southerly coiner of said Lot 1634
All of which is more clearly shown an a certain nap
approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach for said abandonment by Resolution No.-toa—on theme
day of , 1935.

once with an Act of the Legislature of the State of California,

statement of the fact of the passage of this resolution of In.
