RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING AND DI-
RECTING THAT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A WOODEN BULK-
HEAD ADJACENT TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF BLOCK P
OF TRACT NO. 5180 AS DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION CF
INTENTION NO. 9190 BE DONE UNDER THE DIRECTION
AND SUPERVISION OF THE CITY ENGINEER.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California,-did on the 2nd day of December, 1935, pass
and adopt Resolution No.All , ordering the work set forth
and described in Resolution of Intention No. 919, adopted
on the 12th day of November, 1935 by the said City Council,
pursuant to proceedings initiated under the provisions of the
"Improvement Act of 1911," and amendments thereto, for the
construction of a wooden bulkhead and appurtenances adjacent
to the easterly line of Block P of Tract No. 518 in the said
City of Newport Beach,.and the said City Council desiring
that the said work and improvement be done under the direction
of the City Engineer and that the materials used shall comply
with the sPecifications and be to the satisfaction of the City
Engineer instead of the Superintendent of Streets;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, California, does hereby resolve and direct
that the work of constructing the wooden bulkhead hereinbefore
mentioned, be done under the direction of.the City Engineer
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the materials used shall
be in compliance with the specifications and be to the satis-
faction of the City Engineer of the said City instead of the
Superintendent of Streets, and the Superintendent of Streets
• of the said City is hereby directed to include a provision
to that effect in the contract which he shall hereafter make
covering the said proposed improvement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, California, at a regular adjourned meeting
thereof held on the 2nd day of December, 19350 by the following
vote, to-wit:
