RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
did pursuant to Ordinance No. -6-4e— of the City of Newport
Beach, execute and deliver a certain agreement or option to
purchase certain real property belonging to the City of Newport
Beach, to the Hamasi Corporation, for the considerations in
said agreement mentioned, and upon the terms and covenants
thereof, which said agreement with the said Hamasi Corporation
was duly and regularly signed by the Mayor and City Clerk of
said City pursuant to said Ordinance No. of the City
of Newport Beach, on the 6th day of ,pt T,,, 1936, a duly
executed copy of said agreement being on file with the Clerk
of said City, and reference is hereby made thereto for further
particulars, and the same is by such reference made a part
hereof; and
,VHEREAS, the property mentioned in said Ordinance No.
and so sold to the Hamasi Corporation, under said
agreement or option to purchase, is described as follows,
to -wit:
All that certain real property situated in the City
of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and
more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
PARCEL I
Lots 1 to 8, both inclusive, Lots 11 to 20, both inclusive,
and Lots 22 to 25, both inclusive, of Block 139;
Lots 1 to 5, both inclusive, Lots 10 to 17, both inclusive,
Lot 19, and Lots 21 to 25, both inclusive, of Block 140;
Lots 1 to 8, both inclusive, and Lots 10 to 25, both
inclusive, of Block 141;
Lots 2 to 6, both inclusive, and Lots 10 to 31, both
inclusive, of Block 142;
Lots 2 to 7, both inclusive, Lot 10, Lots 12 to 16, both
inclusive, and Lots 18 to 35, both inclusive, of Block 143,
of Resubdivision of Corona Del Mar, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 4, page 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records
bf Orange County, California;
Lot 1; Lots.3 to 5, both inclusive, and Lots 7 to 32, both
inclusive, of Block 239;

Maps, Records of Orange County, California;

10 Also the following piece or parcel of real property described
as follows:
11 Beginning at the Most Easterly corner of Lot 2, in Block "Y"
of Tract 323, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 14, pages
12 40 and 41 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California; thence Northeasterly along the Northleasterly
13 prolongation of the Southeasterly line of said Lot 2, 8.29
feet more or less, to the most Northerly corner of Lot 3,
14 in said Block "Y "; thence Northwesterly along a line which
is parallel to and 40 feet southwesterly measured at right
15 angles from the center line, or the prolongation thereof, of
the Coast Boulevard shown on said map to a point in the
16 Northeasterly prolongation of the Northwesterly line of said
17 Lot 2; thence southwesterly along said prolongation of said
Northwesterly line of said Lot 2 to the most Northerly
18 corner of said Lot 2; and thence southeasterly along the
Northeasterly line of said Lot 2, 60 feet to the point of
19 beginning.
20 And WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
21 Beach meets regularly once a month; and
22 WHEREAS, said property will be sold from time to time
23 by said Hamasi Corporation, to various individuals and said
24 sales will necessitate in many instances the giving of deeds
25 and other instruments in writing.
26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
27 City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be authorized, directed
10 28 and instructed to sign, execute and deliver on behalf of the
29 City of Newport Beach, all deeds presented by the Hamasi

Corporation, to the City of Newport Beach, for execution, and

covering any of the properties heretofore described, when the
City Treasurer of the City of Newport Beach shall certify that
the price mentioned in said option or agreement to purchase, is
fully paid.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the city of Newport Beach at an adjourned
regular meeting thereof held on the 24th day of August,
1936, by the following vote, to —wit:
