lot. Resolved, that there be and is hereby levied upon
all of the taxable property within the City of Newport Beach
which is taxable therein for municipal purposes, a tax for the
purpose of raisingt the necessary money with which to carry on
the various departments of the. City of Vermort Beach, for the
current fiscal year.

"One Dollar three cents ((;1.03) on each one hundred dollars of
value designated for each fund as follows.

the acquisition, construction and completion, by the City of
Newport Beach, of a certain.munieipal improvement, to -wit, the
improvement of the municipal harbor by deepening and dredging the
channel.' and by the acquisition and construction of various groins
for the purpose of controlling the tide and protecting the existing
jetties and.9hore lands, and including for said purpose the
acquisition of lands and rights of way, which said bonds are known
and designe.ted as Newport Beaoh Harbor Improvement Bonds of 1929,
and bonds in the amount of �Z00,000.00 for the acquisition and
construction of.a municipal improvement, to -wit; Additions to the
Municipal Sewer System including the acquisition of lauds and
rights of way, and the acquisition and construction of a main sower
line and discharge sever lines, a sevage disposal plant, sewage
corks, pumping plants and buildings and.equipment necessary or
convenient for said project, which said serer bonds are known and
designrated as Newport Beach E,unioipal Sever Bonds of 1936.

9. aforesaid, is hereby fixed at seventy —five cents (750) on each

14 dollars (vU00.00) for advertising purposes, pursuant to the pro-
15 visions of Ordinance 11o. 144 oubrtitted to and carried by a majority
16 of the votes.of all the voters voting at an election held for the
17 purpose of voting for or against siiid ordinance on the 24th day of
18 September, '1919.
19 Resolved, that in addition to all other taxes

21 within the City of Newport Beach, a tax of three cents (30) on each
22 one hundred dollars (0100.00) of assessed valuation for perk pur-
.23 poses.pursuant to the provisions of.Ordinance Ito. -380 of the City
24 of Newport Beach, submitted to and carried by fa majority of the
25 votes of all the voters voting at an election hold for the purpose
26 of voting for or against said ordinance on the 88th day of May,193C

personal property in the City of Vevport Beach therein taxable

of paying the delinquencies which have occurred in the payment of
