RESOLUTION NO. l� ► _
2 WHEREAS, FRANCIS T. STANBURY and ELEANOR A. STANBURY,
3 husband and,wife, have this day offered to the City of Newport
4 Beach, the sum of $150.00, for Lot 2 in Block]40 of "Canal
5 Section, Newport Beach ", as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4,
6 page 98 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
7 California; and
8 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of $150.00; and
13 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15 above described.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property
17 be sold to the said Francis T. Stanbury and Eleanor A. Stanbury,
18 hisband and wife, as joint tenants with the right of survivorship,
19 for the sum of $150.00, free and clear of all encumbrances except
20 second installment 1936 -1937 city taxes, and assessments of
21
record, not exceeding #143.00, with six
installments,
exclusive
22
of the amounts included in the 1936- 1937'taxes
yet to
be paid;

also subject to taxes for the fiscal year
1937 -1938,
and subject
24
to covenants, conditions, reservations,
restrictions
and rights
2511 of way of record; and
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said deed above mentioned
27 duly executed by the city of Newport Beach by its duly authorized
28 officers, be delivered to said Francis T. Stanbury and Eleanor
29 A. Stanbury, husband and wife, as joint tenants, for the
30 consideration above mentioned.
