WHEREAS, LEON E. YALE, and GENEVIEVE E. YALE, husband

and wife, as joint tenants, have this day offered to the CITY OF
4
NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $150.00 for Lot 24, Block 225, Lancaster
5
Addition, in the city of Newport Beach, as shown on Map recorded
6
in Book 5, page 14 of Map Books, records of Orange County,
7
California; and
8
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $150.00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real valueof the property
15
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property
17
be sold to the said Leon E. Yale and Genevieve E. Yale, for the
18
sum of $150,00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to
19
taxes for the fiscal year 1937 -35, and unpaid improvement assessment
20
of record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and
21
reservations of record.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $15.00 be paid
23
to E. E. Elliott, as and for his commission for the negotiating.

of the sale of said real property to Leon E. Yale and Genevieve E.
25
Yale, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
26
reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
27
being a licensed realtor of the city of Newport Beach.

Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
