8 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of $175.00; and
13 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15 II above described.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That said property
17 be sold to the said Charles C. Fipps and Eunice B. Fipps, husband
18 and wife, as joint tenants with the right of survivorship, for
19 the sum of $175.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject
20 to the taxes for the fiscal year 1937 -35, and unpaid improvement
21 assessments of record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions
22 (land reservations of record.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution

was duly and regularly passed and ado ted by the City Council of
25
the City of Newport Beach at regular meeting-
26
