RESOLUTION NO. U

WHEREAS, JAMES J. MUSTARD and GRACE A. MUSTARD, husband
3
and wife, have this day offered to the City of Newport Beach, the
4
sum of $550.00 for Lots 17, 19 and 210 Block 734, Corona Del Mar,
5
in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on Map recorded in Book
6
3, pages 41 and 42, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
7
California, and
8
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $550.00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property
17
be sold to the said JAMES J. MUSTARD and GRACE A. MUSTARD, husban
18
and wife, as joint tenants with the right of survivorship, for
19
the sum of $550.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject
20
to the taxes for the fiscal year 1937 -39, and unpaid :improvement
21
assessments of record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions
22
and reservations of record.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $37.50 be paid
24
to H. CARDOZA SLOAN, as and for his commission for the negotiating
25
of the sale of said real property to James J. Mustard and Grace
26
A. Mustard, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair

and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said
28
broker being a licensed realtor of the city of Newport Beach.

Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by.the
