NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and

City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby

behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and the Clerk is instructed

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly

and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City

WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
on the -5th day of July, 1937, by the following to-wit:

Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Contract of

Conditional Sale, by and between THEODORE ROBINS, therein
6
referred to as Seller, and the City of Newport Beach, therein

referred to as the Purchaser; and

WHEREAS, said contract provides that the seller sells

to the purchaser one certain 1937 Ford V -8 157" Truck chasis

with cab and dual wheels, Motor No. 18- 3972630, all as in said
11
contract more particularly described, for the sum of x$1563.77,

and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
14
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
15
truck chasis be purchased for the City of Newport Beach, upon
16
the terms and conditions and for the price in said contract
17 11 specified.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
19
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
20
authorized, directed and instructed to execute said contract on
21
behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and the Clerk is instructed
22
to deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the Seller therein
23
named.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
25
and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City

of Newport Beach at as adjourned regular meeting thereof held

on the -5th day of July, 1937, by the following to-wit:
