2 WHEREAS, MARY S. NICHOIA9, a single woman, has this day offered to
3 the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $250.00 for Lot 14, Block B, Tract 673,
Adikk 4 in the city of Newport Beach, as shown on Map recorded in Book 20 pages 17

5 and 18 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
6 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as and for
7 the purchase price of said lot; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems that
9 it is for the best interests of said City that said property be sold for the
10 said sum of $250.00; and
11 MME4.9, the price offered is just, fair and adequate and is not
12 disproportionate to the real value of the property above described.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be sold to the
14 said Mary S. Nichols, a, single woman, for the sum of $250.00, free and clear
15 of all encumbrances, subject to the ta-'es for the fiscal year 1939-39, and
16 unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
17 restrictions and reservations of record. And the Mayor and the City Clerk are
18 hereby »uthorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed for said property
19 to the said party upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of 2 00 be
$ 5. paid to G. W.
21 Ritchie, as and for his commission for the negotiating of the sale of said
22 real property to nary S. Nichols, said sum being a fair and reasonable
23 commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker being a licensed.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was duly

and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
27
Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof, held on the 18th day of
