RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, a certain corporation grant deed dated the
Iq_0L day of , 1938, from the City of Newport
Beach, a Municipal coroporation of the sixth class of Orange
County, California, to Mary B. Dunphy, a single woman, granting to
said Mary B. Dunphy all that certain real property situated in the
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and
more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
The Southeasterly 10 feet of Lot 2, in Block "L"
of Tract No. 323, as per map recorded in Book 14,
pages 40 and 41 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said County.
Subject to easement for State Highway.
Subject to easements, reservations and restrictions
of record.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California; and
WHEREAS, the said City Council of the city of Newport
Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said city that
said property be deeded to the said Mary B. Dunphy, for the
consideration therein set forth, and other valuable considerations,
including the widening of Highway No. 101 through that portion of
the City of Newport Beach known as Corona Del Mar.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
instructed to executed said Grant Deed in the name of and on
behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is
instructed to deliver the same to Mary B. Dunphy, Grantee therein
named.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
