2 WHEREAS, a certain Grant Deed dated the 14th day of
3 September, 1938, from Thomas E. Wilson and Mamie Wilson, husband
4 and wife, to the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation of
5 the sixth class, granting to said City all that certain real pro -
6 perty situated in the City of Newport Beach, Orange County,
7 California, and more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
8 Lot 3 in Block °Q" of Tract No. 323, as per map
recorded in Book 14, pages 40 and 41 of Miscellan-
9 eous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
said County.

Subject to reservations, restrictions, assessments
11 and liens of record.
12 was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
13 California; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
15 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
16 deed be accepted upon the terms and conditions therein set forth,
17 and other valuable considerations, including the widening of
18 Highway No. 101 through that portion of the City of Newport Beach
19 known as Oorona Del Mar.
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said Grant Deed
21 be accepted by the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk
22 be instructed to record the same forthwith with the County Record-
23 er of Orange County, California.
24 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
25 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
26 the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
27 held on the 21st day of November, 19338- the following vote:
