RESOLUTION NO.
1
WHEREAS, THEODORE A. PONTINC, has this day offered to

the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $100.00 for Lot 12, Block
3
129, Lake Tract, in the city of Newport Beach, as shown on Map
4
recorded in Book 4, page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
5
Orange County, California; and
6
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
7
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9
deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
10
property be sold for the said sum of $100.00; and
11
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
15
sold to the said Theodore A. Ponting, as his separate property,
16
for the sum of $100.00, free and clear of all encumbrances,
17
subject to the second half of City's taxes for the fiscal year
18
193 -39, and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also
19
subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record.

And the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
21

directed to execute and deliver a deed for said property to the
22
said party upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.

was duly and rdgularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
26
the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
held on the 16th day of January, 1939 bv the following vote;to -wi
