WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has acquired the
hereinafter described property from the County of Orange,
State of California, pursuant to the procedure outlined and
in effect in section 3897d of the Political Code of the State
of California and amendments thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach is now the record
owner, pursuant to proceedings had and taken as aforesaid
under section 3897d of the Political Code of the State of
California and amendments thereto, of the following described
property, situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, and more particularly described
as follows, to -wit:
Lots 42, 43, 56, 57, 5$, 59 60, 62, 63, 64, 65,
66, 81, 82, 83, 8 , 85 and of ��Tract No. 9481,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 30, pages 6
and 7 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Tax Collect-
or and Auditor be and he is hereby authorized, directed and
instructed to cancel all taxes and assessments (payable as
taxes) now appearing on the books of his office and constitu-
ting a tax lien on the above described real property.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Newpo t Beach regular meeting
thereof held on the JE day of February, 19392 by the follow-
ing vote, to -wit:
