HomeMy WebLinkAbout1521 - District Map - Ordinance 440• • 1 2 3 4 5 C:M 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 i RESOLUTION NO. ,IL41 WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Newport Beach did on the 29th day of November, 1935, at a regular meeting of said Commission, adopt by resolution a certain map designated 'District Map"; and AREAS, said District Map mentioned in the previous paragraph, together with all matters shown thereon, was made a part of Ordinance No. 440 of the City of Newport Beach, passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach on the 6th day of January, 1936, as being a part of the master plan of the City of Newport Beach; and WHEREAS, said District Map heretofore mentioned is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach, and reference thereto is made hereby for further par- ticulars; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Newport Beach did pursuant to advertising, postcard notices to adjoining owners and public hearing, all as required by law, recommend to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach by resolution No. of the Planning Commission of the City of Newport Beach, that said District Map heretofore re- ferred to be amended in a manner to show that the property hereinafter described be shown on said map as being in a 0-1 district rather than in a R -1 district as now shownby said district map aforesaid, and that the hereinafter de- scribed property be re -zoned from an R -1 district to a 0-1 district. Beginning at a point in the easterly line of San Bernardino Avenue, as said San Bernardino Avenue is laid out and shown upon a map of said Tract 919, which point of beginning is 500.75 feet measured along said easterly line and its southerly prolon- gation from the center line of the State Highway 100 feet in width; Running thence South 470 151 30" east 520.9 feet; thence southeasterly along a curve concave to the northeast and having a radius of 530 feet, which bears North 420 44t 30" East through an arc dis- tance of 189.29 feet; thence south 670 43t 20" East along a line tangent to the last mentioned curve a distance of 376.06 feet; Running thence southeasterly along a curve concave to the southwest and having a radius of 470 feet which bears South 220 161 4011 West through an arc distance of 266.17 feet; thence South 350 16t 30" East along a line tangent to the last mentioned curve 153.35 feet; thence southeaster- ly along a curve concave to the southwest and having a radius of 470 feet which bears South 540 43t 3011 Nest through an arc distance of 164.06 feet; thence South 150 16t 301, East along a line tangent to the last mentioned curve a distance of 148.6 feet; thence southerly along a curve concave to the west and having a radius of 70 feet, which bears South 740 431 30" West through an arc distance of 67.19 feet; Thence South 390 431 30" West along a line tangent to the last mentioned curve a distance of 62.2 feet to an intersection with the northeasterly line of said State Highway 100 feet in width. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach did, pursuant to law, and said Ordinance No. 440 afore- said, and the recommendation of said Planning Commission of the City of Newport Beach as aforesaid,call a public hearing on the question of changing said property heretofore described, from an R -1 District to a 0-1 District, as now shown by said District Map aforesaid; and VMREAS, the City Council of the City of Newpprt Beach did, at a public hearing, held on the 20th day of February, 1939, determine by resolution that said real property hereto- fore described should be changed on said district map aforesaid 2/ 25 26 27 28 • 29 30 • 31 32 LAW OFFICES OF ROLAND THOMPSON 210 SPURGEON BUILDING SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA All of Lot "F ", as said Lot "F" is laid out and shown upon a map of Tract 911 as recorded in Mis- cellaneous Maps, Book 29, Pages 31 -34 inclusive, records of Orange County, California, and all that portion of Lot "A" of said Tract 919 lying south- westerly and southerly of the following described line. NOSY, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said real pro- perty situated in the County of Orange, State of California, and heretofore described be shown on said district map as being in a 0-1 district; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said map heretofore prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach and designated "Supplement No. 6 to District Map" be, and the same is hereby approved, and that said Supplement No. 6 to District Map and all matters shown thereon be, and the same are hereby made a part of Ordinance No. 440 of the City of Newport Beach, passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach on January 6th, 1936, as being part of the master plan of the City of Newport Beach; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said Supplement No. 6 to the District Map shall be and constitute an amendment to said District Map and as said District Map shall have been so amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and part of said Ordinance No. 440 of the City of Newport Beach and amendments thereto.
