1,7HEREAS, a certain Grant Deed dated the 13th day of
December, 1938, from Earl M. Brady, a single man, to the City
of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation, granting to said
City all that certain real property situated in the City of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and
more particularly described as follows:
An easement for alley purposes upon, over and
across a strip of land 14 feet wide, being the
Northeasterly 14 feet of Lot 1 in Block 442
of Corona Del liar, as per map recorded in Book
3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Baps, in
the office of the County Recorder of said
County.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California; and
'.7HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that
said deed be accepted upon the terms and conditions therein
set forth, and other valuable considerations, including the
widening of Highway No. 101 through that portion of the City
of Newport Beach, known as Corona Del 'ar.
N017, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLIrED: That said Grant Deed
be accepted by the City of Newport Beach, and that the City
Clerk be instructed to record the same forthwith with the
County Recorder of Orange County, California.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolu-
tion was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular
meeting thereof held on the 20th day of March, 1939, by the
following vote, to —wit:
