2 A Quitclaim deed dated the 5th day of February, 1940
from A. E. MONTEITH and VERA H. MONTEITH, husband and wife, to

the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a municipal corporation of the sixth
4
class, remising, releasing and quitclaiming to the City of Newport
5
Beach all that real property situated in the City of Newport Beach
6 .
County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly
7
described as follows, to —wit:

Lots 10 and 11, Block 431, Lancaster's
9 Addition to Newport Beach, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 5, page 14 of Miscellaneous
10 Maps, records of Orange County, California.
11 was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
12 i California.
13 { WHEREUPON, Council n ` made a motion,
14 (duly seconded by Councilman and carried, that
15 said Quitclaim deed be accepted by the City of Newport Beach and
16 that the City Clerk be instructed to record the same forthwith
17 with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
18 That said motion was carried by the following vote,
