Cq LIFO JA RESOLUTION NO. WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain Option for Lease dated the 6th day of January, 1941, by and between the City of Newport Beach as the party of the first part, and South Coast Company, as party of the second part; and WHEREAS, said Option for Lease provides that the party of the first part agrees to lease to the party of the second part at any time on or before July 31st, 1941, upon the conditions, covenants and agreements in said Option set forth, certain water frontage property and tide lands in said Option for Lease more particularly described; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach deems that it is for the beet interests of said City that said Option for Lease be entered into with the party of the second part, upon the terms, covenants and conditions and for the consideration in said Option specified. NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby authorized, directed and instructed to execute said Option for Lease in the name of and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach and that a duly executed copy thereof be delivered to the party of the second part. I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of January, 1941, by the following vote, to —wit: ST: NOES, COUNCILMEN:�� ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: 0 City Clerk Mayor — Uity of Newport e
