RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, a Grant Deed from ROBERT S. BUTLER and OLIVE E.
BUTLER, husband and wife, as joint tenants, to the City of Newport
Beach, a Municipal corporation, dated the 4th day of February, 1941,
granting to the City of Newport Beach all that certain real proper-
ty situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State
of California, and more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at a point in the northerly prolongation of
the easterly line of Lot 4 in Block 109 of Section B, Newport
Beach, as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, page 27 of Miscellan-
eous Maps, records of Orange County, California, which point is
10 feet northerly of the northeasterly corner of said Lot 4;
running thence westerly along a line parallel to the northerly
line of said Block 109, 50 feet to an intersection with the
northerly prolongation of the westerly line of Lot 5 in said
Block 109; thence northerly along the said northerly prolongation
of the westerly line of said Lot 5, 10 feet; thence easterly
along a line parallel to the northerly line of said Block 109,
50 feet to an intersection with the northerly prolongation of the
easterly line of said Lot 4; thence southerly along the said
northerly prolongation, 10 feet to the point of beginning.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that the consideration for said deed is fair, just and
adequate.
WHEREUPON, Councilman, made a motion, duly
seconded by Councilman and carried, that said Grant
Deed be accepted by said city, and the City Clerk instructed to
record the same forthwith with the County Recorder of Orange County,
California.
That said motion was carried by the folrlowing vote, to -wit:
