RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Counci l of the citfarle- Newport Beach a certain Grant Deed
dated the it t4 day of , 1941, from Anna L. Hutchings,
a married woman, in favor of the city of Newport Beach, a
municipal corporation, which deed covers all that certain real
property situated in the city of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, and more particularly described as follows,
to -wit:
The right of way for alley purposes and public
utility purposes over, upon, under and across
all that portion of Lot 13 in Block 4, as shown
upon a map of East Newport, recorded in Book 3,
page 37 of Miscellaneous traps, records of Orange
County, California, described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot
13; running thence northerly along the westerly
line of said Lot 13, a distance of 10 feet;
running thence southeasterly in a direct line
to a point in the southerly line of said Lot
13, which point is 10 feet easterly of the south-
west corner of said Lot 13; thence westerly
along the southerly line of said Lot 13, 10 feet
to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilman
seconded by Councilman aWQ, -%t and
carried, it is ordered that said Grant heed be accepted and the
City Clerk is instructed to record the same forthwith with the
County Recorder of Orange County, California.
Said motion was carried by the following vote, to-wit:
