1 WHEREAS, JOSEPH D. STROPLE and NORMA M. STROPLE, husband
2 and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
3 sum of $225.00 for Lot 6, Block 41, Third Addition to Newport Beac
• 4 as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, page 31 of Miscellaneous
5 Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
6 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
7 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
10 property be sold for the said sum of $225.00; and
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13 above described.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
15 sold to the said Joseph D. Strople and Norma M. Strople, husband
16 and wife, for the sum of $225.00, free and clear of all encumbran-
17 ces, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42, and unpaid
18 improvement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
19 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
20 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
21 a deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the
22 consideration above set forth.
23 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
24 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
25 the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
26 held on the 16th day of June, 1941, by the followingg vote, t�.wit
