RESOLUTION NO. --"— 4-
i
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain assignment of
contract, which said contract is between the City of Newport Beach
as the party of the first part, and J. B. Cail, as party of the
second part, and dated February let, 1941; and
WHEREAS, the said J. B. Cail desires to sell, assign
and transfer said contract to Roy S. Nelson, upon the same terms,
and conditions and for the same rental as in said contract provides
and
WHEREAS, the said Roy S. Nelson has furnished a bond
to the city of Newport Beach in the sum of $1000.00, which bond
has been approved by the City of Newport Beach as to form and
substance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport B
deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
contract be assigned by J. B. Cail to the said Roy S. Nelson, upon
said Roy S. Nelson furnishing said bond heretofore mentioned, and
upon all the terms and conditions and for the consideration there
set forth.
NOW, THERLFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute and sign the cons
to the assignment of said contract, in the name of and on behalf
of the city of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 4th day of August, 1941,
