RESOLUTION NO.�
WHEREAS,there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain agreement by and
between the City of Newport Beach therein referred to as the party
of the first part, and George Vanderbilt, therein referred to as
the party of the second part; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides that the City of Newport
Beach will build a dock, garage and comfort station and roadway
for the use of the party of the second part, upon the terms and
conditions and for the rental in said agreement provided for;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council ofthe City of Newport Beach
believes that it is for the best interests of the City of Newport
Beach that said agreement be entered into with the party of the
second part, upon the terms, conditions and consideration therein
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby dlretteA
authorized and instructed to execute said agreement in the name of
the city of Newport Beach, and the Clerk of said city is directed
to deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the party of the second
part.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
held on the 18th day of August, 1941, by the following vote:
