1 RESOLUTION NO. "J

3 WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
4 Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain lease dated the
5 20th day of October, 1941, by and between the City of Newport Beach
6 as Lessor, and John Ford, as Lessee; and
7 WHEREAS, said lease provides that Lessor leases to
8 Lessee certain garage space, located easterly of Tract No. 919
9 in the City of Newport Beach, for a period of thirty -five months,
10 for the total rental or sum of $350; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
12 deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
13 lease be given to Lessee for the term, upon the conditions, and
14 for the consideration therein set forth.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
16 City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
17 directed, authorized and instructed to execute said lease in the
18 name of, and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and that the
19 City Clerk deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the Lessee
20 therein named.
