RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, by virtue of Traffic Ordinance No. 345 and amend-
ments thereto, of the city of Newport Beach, the City Council of
the city of Newport Beach is authorized to prohibit and/or limit
parking of automobiles and other vehicles on certain streets and
alleys in the city of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, under said Ordinance No. 345, the City Council of
the city of Newport Beach is authorized to prohibit and /or limit
parking of automobiles end other vehicles on said streets and
alleys by resolution duly passed by said City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That parking of automobiles
and other vehicles on the streets of said city of Newport Beach
hereinafter named, shall be limited as shown hereafter, and the
Chie r of Police of the city of Newport Beach is directed,
authorized and instructed to do all necessary painting of curbs
and posting of appropriate signed in and along said streets
hereinafter mentioned, which signs shall clearly indicate the fact
that parking is limited along said streets hereinafter mentioned.
CENTRAL AVENUE
Parking of automobiles and other vehicles is hereby limited
to one (1) hour from eight o'clock A. M. to six o'clock P. M. of
each day hereafter except Sundays, on the South side of Central
Avenue from the westerly line of 22nd Street, produced to the
southerly side of Central Avenue, to the Easterly line of 26th
Street.
And, parking of automobiles and other vehicles is hereby
limited to one (1) hour from eight o'clock A. M. to six o'clock
P. M. of each day hereafter except Sundays, on the North side of

Central Avenue from the Westerly line of Ord Street produced
to the Northerly side of Central Avenue, to the Easterly side of
26th Street,
The Chief of Police of the city of Newport Beach is hereby
authorized and instructed to erect and construct, or cause to be
erected and constructed, all necessary signs showing the parking
restrictions on the streets hereinbefore mentioned and described.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly passed by the City Council of the city of Newoort
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the �JL day of
December, 1941, by the following vote, to-wit:
