WHEREAS, NELSON M. VALLEY, a Ringle man, hap this day
offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BFACH, the Rum of $125.00 for Lot
1', Block 43, River Section, in the City of Newport Beach, an
shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 25 of Miscellaneous Maos,
records of Orange County, California; and
WHEREAS, the acid price is a fair and adequate prior
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
WHFRFA.S, the City Council of the City ofNewport Beach
deems that it ip for the best interests of said City that ¢aid.
property be sold for the said sum of X125.00; and
WHERFAS, the price offered is jupt, fair and advouato
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
above described..
NOW, THERFFORF, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
sold to the said Nelson M. Valley, a single man, an his sRparate
property, for the sum of 1125.00, free and clear of all encumbrance
subject to the second half of the taxes for the fiscal year 1.941 -42
Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record
The Mayor and the City Clerk ere hereby authorized and directed to
ecute and deliver a deed for said property to the said party
on receipt of the consideration above set forth.
BE ST FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of ?12.50 be paid
to Ralph P. Maske,y, as and for his commission for the negotiating
of the sale of said real. property to Nelson M. Valley, a single man
as his separate property, said sum being a fair and reasonable
commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker being a
licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
