WHEREAS, JOHN A. SIF.GEL and CATHERINE H. SIEGEL, husband.
1 and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
2 1 sum of A600.00 for Lot 8 and the Northwesterly 8 1/3 feet of Lot
• 3 7, Block 136, River Section, in the City of Newport Beach, as show
4 on a Map recorded i.n Book 4, page 25 of Miscellaneous Maps, record,
5 ofOranFe County, California; and.
6 WHTRFA9, the said price is a pair and adequate ori.ce,
7 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8 WHFRFAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
10 property be sold for the said sum of $600.00; and
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13 above described..
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said. property be

sold to the
said John /1. Siegel
and
Catherine H. Siegel,
husband.

1 and wife, as
joint tenants, for
the
sum of 0600.00, free
and clear
17 of all encumbrances, subject to the second half of the taxes for t,
18 fiscal year 1941 -42. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and
19 reservations of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
20 authorized and directed to exFcute and deliver a deed for said
21 11property to the said oarti.es upon receipt of the consideration
22 Ilabove set forth.
23 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
24 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
25 the City of Newoort Beach at a rePular meeting thereof held on the
26 let day of December, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit:
