WHEREAS, RALPH JOHNSON and LAVINNIA JOHNSON, husband

and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the

5 sum of $275.00 for Lot 13, Block 735, Corona del Mar, in the City
6 of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41
7 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California
and
8
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
13 property be sold for the said sum of $275.00; and
14 WHEREAS, the price offered is Just, fair and adequate
15 and is not disproportionate to the real Value of the property
above described.

17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18 sold to the said Ralph Johnson and Lavinnia Johnson, husband and
19 wife, for the sum of $275.00, free and clear of all encumbrances,
ZO subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1943-44. Also subject to
21 conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
22 and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
23 and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon
24 receipt of the consideration above set forth.
25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $65.75 be paid
26 to Ralph P. Maskey, as and for his commission fcr the negotiating
27 of the sale of said real property to Ralph Johnson and Lavinnia
28 Johnson, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
29 reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, aryl said
• 30 broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
31 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
32 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
