RESOLUTION NO.4r_
1 WHEREAS, the NEWPORT BEACH SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE
2 COUNTY, has this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum
3 of $2600.00 for Lots 1, 3, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21
4 nand 22, Block 531, Corona del Mar, as shown on a Map recorded in
5 Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
6 County, California; and
7 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
8 has and for the purchase price of said lots; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
10 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
11 property be sold for the said sum of $2600.00; and
12 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
13 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
14 above described.
15 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That said
property be
16 sold to the said Newport Beach School District of Orange County,
17
for the sum of $2600.00, free and clear of all encumbrances,
18
Subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record.

The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
20
execute and deliver a deed for said property to the said School
21
(District upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.

23 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
24 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
25 the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
26 17th day of February, 1944, by the following vote, to -wit:
