WHEREAS, NEIL R. MURRAY and ETHEL MERLE MURRAY, husband

and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
5
sum of $650.00 for Lot 6, Block 44, Third Addition to Newport
6
Beach Tract, In the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map
7
recorded in Book 3, page 31 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
8
Orange County, California; and Lot 4, Block 51, Ocean Front Tract
9
In the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded In Book
10
4, page 12 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
11
California; and
12
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
13
as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
14
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
15
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
16
property be sold for the said sum of $650.00; and
17
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
18
and Is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
19
above described.

NOW, THEE FORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
21
sold to the said Nell R. Murray and Ethel Merle Murray, husband
22
and wife, for the sum of $650.00, free and clear of all encumbran-
23
ces, subject to the second half of the taxes for the fiscal year
24
1943 -44, and unpaid Improvement assessments of record. Also
25
subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record.

The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
27
to execute and deliver a deed for said property to the said
28
parties upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $100.00 be paid
30
to C. F. Dennison, as and for his commission for the negotiating
31
of the sale of said real property to Neil R. Murray and Ethel Merle
32
Murray, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and

reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 7th day of February, 1944, by the following vote, to -wit:
