RESOLUTION NO. 16
WHEREAS, Robert A. Standage and Eulah I. Standage,

husband and wife as joint tenants, have this day offered to the

CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $2 75.00 for Lot 5, Block 29,
3 First Addition to
/-Newport Heights, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map
4
recorded In Book 4, Page 94 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
5
Orange County, California; and
6
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
7
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9
deems that it is for the beat interests of said City that said
10
property be sold for the said sum of $275.00 and
11
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
15
sold to the said Robert A. Standage and Eulah I. Standage, husband
16
and wife as joint tenants, for the sum of $275.00, free and clear
17
of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year
18
1944 »45. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reserva-
19
tions of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby author -
20
ized and directed to execute and deliver a deed for the said
21
22 property to the said party upon receipt of the consideration
above set forth.

24 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
25 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
26 the City of Newport Beach, at a regular meeting thereof hold on
27 the 2nd day of October, 1944, by the following vote, to-wit:
