WHEMS, Harold E. Benedict and Fay V. Benedict,

husband and wife as joint tenants, have this day offered to the

CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of 2 '
7.00 for Lot 19, Block ��0,

Corona Del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map
5
recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, re-
6
cords of Orange County, California; and
7
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
8
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
9
WHEREAS, th6 City Council of the City of Newport Beach
10
deems that it is for the b=st interests of said City that said
11
property be sold for the said sum of $275.00 and
12
WHEREAS, the price &ffered is just, fair and adequate
13
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
14
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
16
sold to the said Harold E. Benedict and Fay V. Benedict, husband
17
and wife as joint tenants, for the sum of $275.00, free and clear
18
of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year
19
1944 -45. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservation
20
of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
21
and directed to execute and deliver a deed for the said property -
22
to the said party upon receipt of the consideration above set
23
forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum df $50.00 be paid
25
to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negotiating
26
of the sale of said real property to Harold E. Benedict and Fay
27
V. Benedict, husband and wife as joint tenants, the said sum being
28
a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and
29
said broker being a licensed realtor of the -City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
31
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City CouncH.l of
32
the City of Newport Beach,
