RESOLUTION NO. 0
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a license agreement dated
the �14t day of Ge t o �E1(- , 1944, wherein the City of Newport
Beach is the party of the first part, and George C. Hiner, is the
party of the second part; and
1WiHEREAS, said license agreement provides that in consideration
of the sum of $1000.00, payable as in said license agreement set
forth, the first party grants to the second party, upon the terms
and conditions therein set forth, the right to sell live bait upon
the pier opposite McFadden Place in the City of Newport Beach,
for the term of 3 years; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems
that it is for the best interests of said City that said license
agreement be granted to the party of the second part.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed,
authorized and instructed to execute said license agreement in
the name of, and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
