RESOLUTION NO 3�-,
WHEREAS, the State of California has provided for alloca-
tion of State Aid to local agencies for Civilian Defense purposes;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has provided matching
funds which do not emanate from the State Treasury, nor from any
fund of any agency which is a part of the executive department of
the State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT,RESOLVED That the City of Newport
Beach apply for the sum of $179.61 or any portion thereof which
may be approved by the Director of Finance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that F. W. Crocker, Coordinator,
whose address is 703 East Bay Avenue, Balboa, California, is hereby
authorized, directed and instructed to sign the application and
agreement with the Director of Finance for the above - stated amount.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of
March, 1945, by the fmllowing vote, to-wit:
