RESOLUTION A L C
RESOLUTION ORDERING VACATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach on the 11th day of June
1945, passed its certain resolution of intention, No. 3198, declar-
ing its intention to order the closing up, vacation and abandonment
of a portion of Nordina Street, and a portion of that certain alley
20 feet in width and lying easterly of Hazel Drive in the City of
Newport Beach, pursuant to and in accordance with the Street Vaca-
tion Act of 1941, approved May 13, 1941, Statutes of 1941, Chapter
250, being Division 9, Part 3, Streets and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Newport
Beach has caused to be conspicuously posted along the line of said
street and alley proposed to be vacated, not less than 500 feet
apart, and not less than 3 in all, notices of the vacation of
said street and said alley, all of which will more fully appear
from the affidavit of R. L. Patterson on file in these proceedings;
and
WHEREAS, said notice so posted by the Street Superint
of the City of Newport beach, stated the passage of said Resolution
of Intention No. 3198, aforesaid, and the date and place of the
hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation of said street and said alley; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach by
said Resolution of Intention aforesaid, did fix Monday, the 2nd day
lof July, 1945, at the hour of 4:00 o'clock P. M. of said day, in
Council Chambers of the City Council of the City of Newport
, located in the City Hall of the City of Newport Beach, as

WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention No. 3198, aforesaid,

has been published at least onoe in the Newport - Balboa News Times,
a newspaper of general oiroulation printed, published and oiroulated
in the City of Newport Beaoh, and said publioation was made before
the date set for the hearing of all persons interested in or objeot-
ing to the proposed vaoation, all of whioh will more fully appear
by the affidavit of S. A. Meyer, printer and publisher of said
Newport - Balboa News Times, on file in these prooeedings; and
WHEREAS, the City Counoil has heard the evidenoe, both
written and verbal, by all persons interested in the vaoation of sai
street and of said alley in this Resolution more partioularly herein
after desoribed, and finds from all of the evidenoe submitted that
said street and said alley desoribed in the Resolution of Intention,
and hereinafter desoribed, are, and eaoh of them is, unneoessary for
present or prospeotive street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Counoil of the City of Newport
jBeaoh finds and determines and hereby orders: That the following
desoribed portion of a oertain street in the City of Newport Beaoh,
and of a oertain alley in said oity, desoribed as follows:
STREET TO BE VACATED
All that portion of Nordina Street, as shown upon a
map of Seashore Colony Traot, reoorded in Book 7,
page 25 of Misoellaneous paps, Reoords of Orange County,
California, lying northeasterly of the northwesterly
prolongation of a line fifteen (15) feet southwesterly
of and parallel with the northeasterly line of Lot 12,
Blook 11 of said Seashore Colony Traot, and'all that
portion of Nordina Street as shown upon a map of E1
Moro Traot, reoorded in Book 8, page 75 of Misoellaneous
Maps, reoords of Orange County, California.
ALLEY TO BE VACATED
All of that oertain alley 20 feet in width and lying
easterly of Hazel Drive and adjaoent to Lots 55 to 62,
inolusive, and lots 66 to 70, inolusive, looated in
Blook "A ", as shown upon map of Traot 673, reoorded in
Misoellaneous Maps, Book 20, pages 17 and 18, Reoords
of Orange County, California,.
Dare, and eaoh of them is, unneoessary for present or prospeotive
1publio street purposes, and now makes its Order Vaoating said
street and alley desoribed, and eaoh of them.

The City Council further finds and determines and it is
hereby ordered that the public easement in the street and alley
heretofore described has, upon the passage of this resolution,
ceased, and the title to the lands herein described shall, and the
same does hereby, revert to the respective owners thereof, free
from the public easement for street purposes.
The City Council further orders that the City Clerk of the
City of Newport Beach shall cause a certified copy of this Order
duly attested by him as City Clerk under the seal of the City to
be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
State of California, immediately following the passage of this
resolution.
The above and foregoing Resolution Ordering Vacation
Nc'LO was passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, held on the 2nd day of July, 1945, by the
following vote, to -wit:

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 2d day of July 19 45 , by the following
