WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach

did, on or about the day of November, 1945, enter into a
•
4
certain License Agreement with MoOullah Brothers wherein and where -
5
by City of Newport Beach gave to the MoCullah Brothers, for the
6
consideration named in said license agreement, the ezolOsive right
7
and privilege of loading and unloading passengers to and from
8
certain piers or wharves in the City of Newport Beach to fishing
9
barges owned and operated by the licensee, MoCullah Brothers; and
10
WHEREAS, the said MoCullah Brothers now desire a new
11
agreement upon different terms and conditions in reference to
12
the loading and unloading of passengers to and from City piers to
13
barges owned by them in the waters of the Pacific Ocean and within
14
the corporate limits of said City; and
15
WHEREAS, MoCullah Brothers have asked that said Lioense
16
Agreement heretofore mentioned be oanoell ®d, annulled and declared
17
of no further force and effect upon the entering into of the
18
new agreement with them, which said new agreement will be presented
19
to the City Council for its consideration and approval this day;
20
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Agreement of
21
the day of November, 1945, between the City of Newport Beach
22
and MoCullah Brothers for the term of one year, be, and the same is
23
hereby declared cancelled and of no further force or effect, upon
24
the delivery and signing of a new license agreement between
25
said parties.
