WHEREAS, it appearing by the statement of J. A. Gant,
(City Auditor of the City of Newport Beach, that the property des-
cribed as all that certain real property situated in the City of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more
particularly described as follows:
Lots °A" to Hill, inclusive, of Tract No. 907,
Lido Isle
belongs to the City of Newport Beach, and said properties are
publicly owned and constitute street ends of said City of Newport
Beach; and
WHEREAS, it likewise appearing that said J. A. Gant has
requested the City of Newport Beach to order the taxes cancelled
on the assessment rolls of the City of Newport Beaoh, on the
property herein mentioned, for the reason that said property has
been erroneously taxed by the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Auditor and
Tax Collector of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
authorized, directed and instructed to cancel all of said taxes on
the real property heretofore described, on the assessment rolls of
the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Port Beach at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council held
