WHEREAS, George H. Du Barry and Margaret J. Du Barry,
husband and wife as Joint tenants, has offered the City of
Newport Beach, a Municipal Corporation, the sum of $250.00 for
a quit -claim deed of all the City's right, title and interest
in and to the certain real property situated in the City of
Newport Beach, Orange County, California, and more particularly
described as follows, to wit:
Lot 6, Block N, Seashore Colony Tract
City of Newport Beach.
and;
WHEREAS, the consideration offered for said real
property is, in the consideration of the City Council of the
City of Newport Bead, just, fair and adequate and not dispropor-
tionate to the actual market value of the right, title and
interest of the said City in and to said real property heretofore
described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems it to be for the best interests and benefit of said City
that the City sell all of its right, title and interest in and
to the real property above - described to the said George H.
Du Barry and Margaret J. Du Barry, husband and wife as joint
tenants, for the consideration of $250.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby dir-
ected, instructed and authorized to execute said deed in the
name of and of behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
