The Clerk notified the City Council that this was
the time and plaos fixed for the opening of bids, pursuant
to Notice Inviting Bide for the construction of Sanitary
Sewers and appurtenanoes In Corona del Mar (North of Highway),
as contemplated by Resolution of Intention No. 3424, and also
reported that he had received 9 bids, which bide were publicly
opened, read, examined and declared, as follows:

Reference is hereby made to the bide on file with
the City Clark for so. details as to the unit prices and kind
or class of work to be Hone.
On motion duly made and carried, all bide were
referred to the City Engineer for checking and report.
The City Engineer reported that he had tabulated
all bids received for the oonstruotlon of Sanitary Sewers,
as per Resolution of Intention No. 3424, and finds that the
bid of Y. C. K. Construotion Company Is the lowest regular
bid submitted for Bald Improvement.
Whereupon; Counoilman Allen offered and moved
the adoption of Resolution No. 3461, awarding the contract
to Y. C. K. Construotion Company at the prices named in
their bid, which sled bid being the lowest regular bid
submitted for said improvement, which motion was seconded
by Counoilman Isbell, and upon roll call the said Resolution
was adopted by the following vote, to.wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Allen, Isbell, Siler, Robertson,
Reed
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
ADJOURNMENT
On motion of Counoilman Allen, seconded by
Counoilman Sller, and 0arrled an adjournment was taken

at 1215 Coast Highway was on motion of Oounoilmen ebell,
seconded b9 Counoilman Robertson and carried, granted.
The application of Foster & Sons for a permit

at 920 Coast Highway, having been approved by the Fire Chief,

Robertson and Carried, granted.
