RESOLUTION N0. 3967
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a proposed form of Agreement of Lease
by and between the City of Newport Beach as lessor and Newport
Harbor Post No. 291 of the American Legion, a California Corpor-
ation, as lessee, wherein and whereby the City leases to the
American Legion certain premises and buildings belonging to the
City; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of the
City of Newport Beach and its citizens that the said Agreement of
Lease be executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute said Agreement of Lease for and in behalf of the said
City of Newport Beach, and to deliver a copy thereof, duly
executed to the said American Legion.
The foregoing Resolution was duly passed and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, held on the 26th day of February, 1951, by the following
(vote, to —wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Finch, Drake, Greeley, Blue,
Isbell
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
